So we’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be supporting the second ever GSFF Short Film Pitch which gives new filmmakers the opportunity to pitch for in kind equipment hire and a small cash bursary to realise their ideas.
Last year’s winning project, John McFarlane’s Tony and the Bull, went on to shoot over the summer, and premieres this year in Scottish Competition 3: Foreign to the World.
Get involved now and send your submissions of short film treatments for the second pitch.
The filmmakers behind the most exciting five treatments will be invited to pitch their projects in an open session, to a panel of filmmakers and industry experts.
You’ll get full and frank feedback and the winner will receive seven consecutive days’ free hire of equipment from us, plus £400 in cash courtesy of Glasgow Short Film Festival.
Please submit your treatment (one page of A4) to shorts@glasgowfilm.org by Thursday 8 March.
They’re looking for original, boundary-crossing ideas, realisable on a small budget. Find out all the details here.
